The purpose of the Public Employment Information and Management System (SIGEP), according to the Administrative Department of the Civil Service, is to compile information on the management of human talent in the service of the Colombian State, in compliance with Article 18 of Law 909 of 2004.
It is a key tool for public administration and citizens that allows to consolidate, manage and process institutional data, both national and local, related to type of entity, sector to which it belongs, conformation, staffing, available jobs, salaries, etc. Information with which government institutions are identified.
In this sense, the University of La Guajira must carry out permanent monitoring to keep the platform updated.
