The Office of International Relations is the administrative unit that leads and supports the processes of Internationalization within the University of La Guajira, attached to the Rectory and its main objective is to generate an international awareness that permeates, assists and articulates all the strata of the institution, in order to promote an international culture linked to academic, research and intercultural processes; based on the fulfillment of the mission functions through international cooperation agreements and academic exchanges.


Our Mission
Internationalization at the Universidad de la Guajira is a transversal process to the institutional management and substantive functions, with a strong intercultural and multilingual component, which aims at teaching based on relevant competencies for the formation of citizens committed to their identity and their environment, in a highly competitive global context. The internationalization process is fundamental to increase the quality of undergraduate and graduate academic programs, positioning the University in national, regional and international environments.
