The Evaluation of Labor Performance (EDL) is a strategic process within the integral management of human talent, oriented to the objective knowledge of the achievements, contributions, competencies, potentialities, limitations and weaknesses of the public servants of the University of La Guajira. The objective of this is to carry out the necessary actions to favor organizational effectiveness and personal and professional development of the civil servant, those linked in provisionality and those of free appointment and removal, as well as to determine the entry, permanence and retirement of the administrative career and probationary period.
Job performance shall be evaluated in accordance with the objectives and goals previously agreed between the evaluator and the evaluated, taking into account measurable, quantifiable and verifiable factors, expressed in a rating. Likewise, it shall be rated based on parameters previously established from the annual action plans of each unit, the institutional goals and the evaluation made by the Internal Control Office or those acting in its stead of the employee's work behaviors and competencies, skills and attitudes, framed within the institutional culture and values.
